Have you finished receiving your main support* and feel you are now in a place where are ready to give back? Volunteering with us is a powerful way to use your experience to support others on their healing journey.
We believe that survivors bring deep empathy, strength, and insight that can make a meaningful difference. Your journey matters — and by getting involved, you can help create a safer, more compassionate world for others who are just beginning theirs.
*Though you may still be attending our group or having monthly calls.
Volunteering with us is more than just giving your time — it’s about transforming your own experiences into a source of strength, hope, and change for others.
Many of our volunteers have walked the difficult path of recovery from childhood sexual abuse. You know better than anyone how that journey can be. But you also know that healing is possible — and that sometimes, the greatest source of comfort is someone who truly understands.
Here’s how your involvement can make a real difference:
Be a Beacon of Hope
Your presence shows others that healing is possible. When survivors see someone who has come through the other side offering support, it can provide reassurance and motivation they might not find anywhere else.
Break the Silence, End the Stigma
By standing up and getting involved, you help challenge the silence and shame that often surround childhood sexual abuse.
Give Back, Gain Strength
Many volunteers find that supporting others strengthens their own healing, building confidence, self-worth and a renewed sense of purpose. Every small act of kindness, every conversation, every task, is part of building something bigger.
Learn, Grow, Connect
We provide full training, resources, and ongoing support. You can choose to volunteer individually if you prefer, or work as part of a sub-team.
Help Shape a Better Future.
The work we do relies on people like you. Whether you're helping review a leaflet to fundraising in a supermarket, you’re contributing to a future where survivors feel safe, seen, and supported.
Befriending
Offer a listening ear and gentle companionship to someone in the early stages of their healing. Just knowing someone understands can be incredibly powerful.
Fundraising Champions
Help us raise the money that keeps our vital services going — whether it’s through organising collection boxes, sponsored events, or awareness campaigns. Every minute and every penny makes a difference.
