...and that's understandable. Taking the step to contact a service can be daunting, especially if you are navigating complex emotions. It's completely normal to feel confused, anxious, or overwhelmed at this stage. You might have questions about what to expect, how the process works, and whether it will truly help. Remember, seeking support is a courageous and positive step towards recovery. Our services are here to offer a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you can explore your feelings and experiences without judgement. Understanding what to expect can make this process a little easier...
Requests for support can be made by filling in a referral form on our website.
You can select which method of communication you would prefer whilst you are accessing our services.
If you were referred to us by another organisation you will also need to complete a confidentiality agreement which you can fill in online or it can be emailed to you.
We will contact you in the way you have requested us to communicate with you.
We will then arrange a time for you to speak with our Lead Recovery Practitioner.
This will be a conversation with our Lead Recovery Practitioner to help us understand your current situation and the best way we can support you. We will also share more about Survivors Unite and the way we work. We have a waiting list for support. We understand how difficult this can be so at this stage you can choose to have follow up support calls until we are able to work with you.
Due to an increase in demand for our service we operate a waiting list.
We understand how difficult this can be so at this stage you can choose to have follow up keep-in-touch calls until we are ready to offer you support.
Due to a high number of people asking for support we are altering the way we offer our counselling service.
From 1st July 2024 we will begin to operate what we are calling a Carousel System. See below to understand how this works for you...
